This firm instructed Counsel Adrian Davies and the firm and Counsel succeeded in having our claim struck out - Davies wrote to them that he had bombarded their clients with requests for information to keep their client busy after the solicitors had told Davies they both risked being sued for their behaviour.

The Law Society did not intervene for eighteen months and then struck McGoldricks off. The Costs Office zeroed McGoldricks bill.

The Ombudsman is now investigating the conduct of the Law Society investigation which has made two nominal ex gratia payments for their ridiculous delays. While the Law Society failed to act McGoldricks took money from the client account of two others and the matter was reported to the police who it is understood are investigating.

The Law Society had every opportunity to react but did not intervene for nearly two years and have delayed their investigation and compensation for another two years.
